Summary
In looking for a compact point & shoot to supplement my Pentax K10D, I choose the Samsung L77. After loaning it to my wife, she bought one also.
Strengths
The colors are very nice and the fact that it has a 7x zoom but the lens barrel does not extend out of the camera is amazing. It fits the pocket well, has enough of a manual mode to get by and works exceedingly well in auto mode.
Weaknesses
he weaknesses are a bit of a learning curve on the controls if Auto doesn't suit you and not using AAA batteries.
Similar Products Used
Nothing as compact as this. Have used 3mp Olympus 710-UZ and Pentax FZ5. These are older but still work very well but not really compact.
