Summary
I Love this camera and I am wishing that the Advantix camera could preview more than one picture. It's great to see the results following each click. This camera is used on a regular basis for shooting the flowers for weddings, funerals, baby showers and church programs. My Advantix camera is similar to the American Express Card, " I never leave home without it". If anyone knows of an updated version of the Advantix camera, please respond.

Summary
I haven't done much photography other than a couple of snapshots with a very basic 35mm(didn't even have a zoom!)at family gatherings. I was tired of grainy pictures and pictures that are either too dark or too light. I needed something that did the thinking for me! I got the camera because I like the easy loading. I hate 35mm film! I didn't do my research, though, and found that the processing is much more expensive. I didn't use the camera for several months because of 35mm I had to use up first. When I did use it, it was very easy once I got used to it and it offers a lot of options. After I dropped the film off to be developed for the first time and found out how expensive it was...I was ready to sell the camera and go digital. And then I got the pictures back! I LOVED them. They were clear and sharp. One scenic picture I took looks like a postcard. Even had someone ask if it was!

Strengths
Easy to load. Good clear pictures. Love the preview to see if I cut off peoples heads! Great for night photography! I took a picture at night with the lights off, of a friend holding a candle. I used the night option and it looks like it was taken with lights on. Everything showed up. LOVE THAT!

Weaknesses
Expensive, in comparison to 35mm, to process film and to buy film. Preview screen can be tricky to see in sunlight(I have to cup my hand around it).

Summary
Not Worth buying, get lot of grains while using zoom to shot a subject.

Strengths
Can see the preview, which also is not sharp, but anyhow good enough to get an idea what result you will get. Good for casual photography

Weaknesses
Photos are not sharp. If you zoom on the subject and click you will get a lot of grains

Summary
I took 3 rolls of pictures w/ this camera. I loved the preview feature, but I hated the pictures. The quality was not as good as my 35mm camera. I also found that I can't get the film developed (as it is supposed to be done) in town. The film has to be sent out of town to be done. I just had the film processed as regular APS and got double prints. I'm returning the camera today.

Strengths
The preview feature allows you to view your picture right after you take it (you can only view the last picture you took).

Weaknesses
The preview is hard to see, the printed pictures are not sharp, and it is difficult to get the film processed with the print selection option.

Similar Products Used
None. This was my first APS camera.

Customer Service
Didn''t use it.
